MARQUEE VENUES IN SUSSEX

Sussex contains some magnificent venues that allow either a hired marquee to be sited in their grounds, or have a marquee already on site that can be hired for a wedding, party or corporate event in Sussex. Below is a list of some that we have identified, and as others come to our attention, they will be added to this list.

Pashley Manor Gardens. Ticehurst, Near Wadhurst, East Sussex. TN5 7HE
Free choice of caterers, and marquee suppliers. Marquee site for around 200 on main lawn.
Grade 1 listed timber-framed house built in 1550 and enlarged in 1720. Quintessential English garden on Sussex & Kent border offering a great venue for weddings, parties, training courses or product launches. Exclusive use of 11 acre garden. Another fine Sussex marquee venue.

Saltcote Manor. Playden, Rye, East Sussex. TN31 7NR
Marquee site on lawns next to Hotel for up to 250 guests. Manor has preferred suppliers.
This late Victorian house started life as a wedding present, so it is only fitting that is has become a superb Sussex wedding venue since returning to private ownership in 2003. With awesome 120 degree views, this large property has extensive grounds, but specialises in smaller, intimate ceremonies and receptions. (EnjoyEngland Gold Award). A fine Sussex venue.

Wadhurst Castle. Outskirts of Wadhurst village, Nr Tunbridge Wells. East Sussex.
Marquee site for up to 200 on South lawn. Have preferred suppliers. Events must end at 11pm.
Built on site of C14th farmhouse, this 550ft high castle was built in early C19th, and commands magnificent views of Sussex and the South Downs. Wonderful licensed wedding venue or other celebratory or corporate event. Ideal for conferences, board meetings and corp. hospitality.
